Databricks is hiring a Resident Solutions Architect to tackle big data challenges using the Databricks platform. You'll engage with clients on data engineering and cloud technology projects. This role requires expertise in big data solutions and customer engagement.
You have a strong background in big data technologies and cloud platforms, with experience in data engineering and data science projects. You understand how to integrate client systems and provide excellent customer service, ensuring that clients derive maximum value from their data. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly makes you an effective consultant. You are comfortable working on short to medium-term engagements and can adapt to various client needs. You have a proven track record of successfully completing projects according to specifications and timelines.
Experience with the Databricks platform is a plus, as is familiarity with designing and building reference architectures. You may also have experience in training clients and providing escalated support for operational issues. Your background includes guiding strategic customers through transformational big data projects, including end-to-end design and deployment of AI applications.
In this role, you will work closely with clients to address their big data challenges, leveraging the Databricks platform to implement effective solutions. You will collaborate with engagement managers to scope professional services work, ensuring that projects align with customer expectations. Your responsibilities will include designing and building reference architectures, creating how-to guides, and productionalizing customer use cases. You will consult on architecture and design, helping customers understand and adopt Databricks effectively. Additionally, you will provide support for customer operational issues, working with the Databricks technical team to ensure successful project delivery.
