Overview

Cribl is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead their expansion in the APJ region from Singapore. You'll develop and execute sales strategies while leading a team of sales professionals. This role requires experience in managing complex sales to large enterprises.

Who you are

You are an ambitious sales leader with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams in the technology sector. With at least 5 years of experience in sales management, you have successfully navigated complex deals and understand the nuances of selling to large enterprises. You are customer-focused and have a strong desire to build and grow a world-class sales organization. Your leadership style is collaborative and empowering, fostering a culture of accountability and results within your team.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate the company's vision and sales strategy effectively to both your team and executive leadership. You thrive in a remote-first environment, demonstrating the ability to motivate and inspire your team from a distance. You are data-driven, using analytics to inform your decisions and drive sales performance.

Desirable

Experience in the APJ region is a plus, as is familiarity with the data and security sectors. You are comfortable with technology and can engage with technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into compelling sales narratives. A background in building sales ecosystems and developing talent within your team will set you apart.

What you'll do

As the Vice President of Sales at Cribl, you will be a key member of the senior sales leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute the sales strategy for the APJ markets, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives. You will inherit a successful team of 6-10 salespeople and will be tasked with developing, recruiting, and leading this team to exceed revenue goals.

You will create a comprehensive business plan that outlines your strategy for growth, focusing on building relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Your role will involve regular analysis of sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and to implement strategies that drive results. You will also collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with product offerings and market demands.

In addition to leading your team, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and coaching sales professionals, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their personal and professional goals. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within your team, encouraging them to share ideas and best practices.
