Stripe is seeking an Account Executive for the Benelux Startups team to create partnerships with innovative startups. You'll leverage Stripe's financial infrastructure to support their growth ambitions. This role requires fluency in Dutch and English, along with experience in sales or the startup ecosystem.
You are a driven professional with a strong background in sales, particularly in high-growth technology environments. Your experience in the startup ecosystem, whether as a founder or operator, gives you a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities faced by emerging businesses. You possess superior verbal and written communication skills, with high professional fluency in both Dutch and English, enabling you to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. You have a keen interest in business models and monetization strategies, which allows you to provide valuable insights to your clients.
Prior experience in payments is a plus, as it equips you with the knowledge to navigate the financial landscape that startups operate within. You are comfortable in customer-facing roles and have a track record of building strong relationships with clients. Your ability to understand and address the needs of startups will be crucial in this role, as you help them leverage Stripe's products to achieve their growth objectives.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating partnerships between Stripe and the founders of the most innovative and fastest-growing startups in Europe. You will identify new opportunities for startups to maximize the benefits of Stripe’s growing product suite. By thoroughly understanding their needs, you will advise them on how Stripe’s financial infrastructure can support their growth ambitions and create a competitive advantage for their businesses. You will run the full sales cycle, from prospecting to onboarding and revenue realization, ensuring that your clients receive the best possible support throughout their journey with Stripe.
You will collaborate closely with the EMEA Startups team, leveraging subject matter expertise and robust collaboration within the startup ecosystem. Your role will involve engaging with venture capital-backed startups, assisting them in monetizing their products, scaling globally, and creating new revenue streams. You will be expected to stay informed about industry trends and developments, allowing you to provide relevant insights and recommendations to your clients.
