Prenuvo is seeking a Systems Engineer for AI Medical Devices to support the design and validation of AI-driven diagnostic software systems. You'll ensure compliance with global regulatory standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a contractor position with remote work options in the USA and Canada.
You have a strong background in systems engineering, particularly in the context of AI and medical devices. Your experience includes working with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) products, ensuring they meet stringent regulatory standards such as those set by the FDA and Health Canada. You are adept at collaborating with diverse teams, including machine learning scientists, software developers, and clinical experts, to align technical and clinical requirements effectively. You understand the importance of system architecture and are skilled in defining and maintaining scalable, secure, and compliant systems. Your attention to detail ensures that all aspects of system design and integration are thoroughly validated.
Experience in the healthcare sector, particularly with AI applications, is a plus. Familiarity with ISO standards related to medical devices will enhance your candidacy. You are proactive in your approach and have a passion for improving healthcare through technology.
