Who you are

You have a strong background in systems engineering, particularly in the context of AI and medical devices. Your experience includes working with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) products, ensuring they meet stringent regulatory standards such as those set by the FDA and Health Canada. You are adept at collaborating with diverse teams, including machine learning scientists, software developers, and clinical experts, to align technical and clinical requirements effectively. You understand the importance of system architecture and are skilled in defining and maintaining scalable, secure, and compliant systems. Your attention to detail ensures that all aspects of system design and integration are thoroughly validated.

Desirable

Experience in the healthcare sector, particularly with AI applications, is a plus. Familiarity with ISO standards related to medical devices will enhance your candidacy. You are proactive in your approach and have a passion for improving healthcare through technology.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the design, development, and validation of AI-driven diagnostic software systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all systems are compliant with regulatory standards and deliver clinical-grade performance. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the definition and documentation of system architectures, ensuring they are scalable and secure. You will also play a key role in the integration of various components of the system, ensuring they work seamlessly together.
