Join our dynamic team as a Software Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and efficiency through full-stack and low-code solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy advanced workflows, enhance user interactions, and lead the integration of AI agents within production services.

This is an exciting time to join our group Customer Experience Engineering - CXP - and work on something highly strategic to Microsoft. The goal of the Customer Experience - CXP Engineering is to build the next generation of our applications on Microsoft cloud services to deliver high value, complete solutions to enable our businesses, and enable Copilot application scenarios across all devices and form factors. To succeed in this role, you will need to:

  • Full stack development experience, with a passion to develop enterprise level software with high quality standards.
  • Experience developing on cloud platforms, including monitoring performance and telemetry to drive continuous improvements.
  • Solving Problems with Analytical Approach, extracting actionable insights to understand their implications within the solution context, solving problems and making decisions through a swift, informed, and strategic approach.
  • Developing automated business solutions - Developing solutions by employing best tools available and guiding projects through development to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Leveraging computer science principles and AI tools to design, develop, and optimize scalable business applications.


Responsibilities

 Responsibilities

Application Design & Development

  • Design, build, and deploy business applications leveraging cloud technologies.
  • Leverage Dataverse, Cosmos DB for data modeling, storage, and integration.
  • Utilize Azure Foundry for advanced automation, AI, or workflow integration.
  • Collaborate with product management, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to identify and address gaps with low-code/no-code solutions.
  • Lead design and code reviews within the team and support the development of technical best practices and architectural guidelines.
  • Proficiency in developing RESTful web services technologies.

 

 

Requirements Gathering & Solutioning

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional app designs.
  • Prototype and iterate on solutions rapidly to meet business needs.
  • Developing solutions to enable complex business solutions/workflows using full stack or low-code solutions, including Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure services.

User Experience & Interface

  • Create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces using Copilot Studio’s design tools, adaptive cards on agents, React.
  • Gather user feedback and iterate on UI/UX for continuous improvement.

Testing, Quality Assurance, Governance & Compliance

  • Test applications for functionality, performance, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Adhere to organizational governance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Implement role-based access, data loss prevention, and audit controls as required.


Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of full stack development experience.
  • Experience developing/working on large scale services on the cloud.
  • Applied knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, React, JavaScript
  • Knowledge of service infrastructure, framework and technologies such as Azure Container Apps, Copilot Studio, ASP .NET, D365, Power Platform.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering, including hands-on experience in application development, engineering product or data analysis
  • 1+ year(s) of experience managing and configuring artificial intelligence solutions (e.g., agents).
  • 1+ year(s) of experience using low-code/no-code programs (e.g., D365, Power Applications).
  • 1+ year(s) of experience with programming/coding large scale enterprise applications.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information System, Math, or related field

Summary:

A Software Engineer in our space is responsible for end-to-end solution delivery—from requirements gathering and design to deployment and support—leveraging full stack development and low-code solutions including Microsoft Copilot Studio, Dataverse, and Azure Foundry to build scalable, secure, and user-friendly business applications.



Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
