Instacart is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Shopping Experience team, focusing on the end-to-end consumer journey. This role requires expertise in product management and a passion for enhancing user experiences in the grocery delivery sector.
You have 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within the tech or grocery sectors, and a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver impactful products. You understand the complexities of user journeys and are skilled at translating customer needs into actionable product strategies. Your analytical mindset allows you to leverage data to inform decisions and drive product improvements. You are an excellent communicator, capable of articulating product vision and collaborating effectively with engineering, design, and marketing teams. You thrive in a flexible work environment and are comfortable adapting to changing priorities while maintaining focus on delivering value to users.
Experience in grocery or e-commerce product management is a plus, as is familiarity with agile methodologies and user-centered design principles. A background in data analysis or experience with A/B testing can enhance your ability to make data-driven decisions.
As the Senior Product Manager for the Shopping Experience team, you will own the Order Experience, overseeing the critical surfaces and capabilities that enhance the consumer journey across Instacart’s app and web platforms. You will collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to develop features that improve the shopping experience, from the storefront to the order status page. Your role will involve defining product roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives based on user feedback and business goals, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders. You will also be responsible for conducting user research to identify pain points and opportunities for innovation, as well as analyzing metrics to measure the success of product features. You will lead sprint planning sessions and coordinate with marketing to ensure successful go-to-market strategies for new features. Your leadership will help foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
