The Exploration Company is seeking a People Operations Associate to support HR functions and ensure compliance within the Italian branch. You'll coordinate payroll and manage people processes while working cross-functionally with various teams.
You are a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of HR administrative processes. You have experience in payroll preparation and are familiar with labor laws and compliance requirements specific to Italy. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with diverse teams across different functions.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR matters. You are proactive in managing local People Operations projects and are committed to continuous improvement in HR processes. You understand the importance of data accuracy and system efficiency in HR operations.
Experience in the metalworker sector or similar industries is a plus. Familiarity with payroll systems and HR software will help you excel in this role. You are adaptable and open to learning new tools and processes that enhance the employee experience.
As a People Operations Associate, you will coordinate and prepare monthly payroll for the Italian branch, ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and taxation requirements. You will collaborate with an external payroll service provider to guarantee accuracy and timely processing.
You will manage HR administrative support for TEC’s Explorers, addressing inquiries and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures. Your role will involve driving local People Operations projects, focusing on process improvements and automation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
You will partner with the visa and mobility teams to assist employees with work permits, relocation, and immigration processes. Maintaining and optimizing HR systems will be a key responsibility, ensuring data accuracy and reliable reporting.
You will also review and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with legal requirements and best practices. Your contributions will help create a seamless employee experience and support the overall mission of The Exploration Company.
