Angi is seeking a Temporary Senior Analyst (Indirect Tax) to manage US Sales and Use Tax compliance. You'll prepare and review tax returns while coordinating with third-party service providers. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and hold a CPA or a Master's Degree in Accounting or Tax. You possess strong analytical skills and have experience in indirect tax compliance, particularly with US Sales and Use Tax. Your attention to detail ensures that all compliance filings are accurate and timely. You are familiar with tax software such as Vertex, Avalara, and Netsuite, which enhances your ability to manage tax processes efficiently. You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable collaborating with teams across different jurisdictions.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the daily US Sales and Use Tax function. You will prepare and review monthly and quarterly US Sales and Use Tax returns across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. You will manage a detailed tax filing calendar to ensure all jurisdictional deadlines are met, coordinating with third-party service providers for data exchange and timely remittance of tax payments. Your role will also involve hands-on preparation and review of compliance filings, owning monthly tax accounting and reconciliation, and actively participating in system testing and audit support. You will work closely with other departments to ensure that tax considerations are integrated into business decisions.
