Aerospike is hiring a Mid-Level Operations Engineer to ensure the stability and smooth operation of their managed cloud platforms. You'll work with AWS, Azure, and GCP while executing production changes and maintaining observability. This role requires hands-on operational excellence and collaboration with engineering teams.
You have a solid background in operations engineering, with experience in managing cloud platforms and ensuring their stability and security. You understand the intricacies of executing production changes and are familiar with incident response protocols. Your hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP has equipped you with the skills to maintain observability and automation in cloud environments. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with Senior Operations Engineers and Site Reliability Engineers to improve processes and reliability. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of operational workflows, including scaling, patching, and environment provisioning. You are committed to operational excellence and are eager to contribute to a team that values teamwork and innovation.
Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes would be a plus, as would familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog or Prometheus. A background in scripting languages like Bash or Python can enhance your ability to automate tasks and improve efficiency in operations. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can help streamline operations and improve service reliability.
In your role as an Operations Engineer II at Aerospike, you will be responsible for executing production changes and assisting in incident response to ensure the smooth operation of managed cloud platforms.
