Who you are

You have 8 to 11 years of experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong background in pre-sales for enterprise software. Your technical expertise includes at least 3 years of experience with modern scripting languages such as Python and Node.js, as well as popular programming languages like C++, Java, and C#. You are adept at designing scalable and highly available distributed systems, whether in the cloud or on-premises. Your ability to work closely with customers to review complex architectures and provide actionable guidance is a key strength.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside sales executives to solve business problems and drive success for customers. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to be a trusted advisor to a diverse range of clients, from startups to large enterprise IT organizations. You understand the importance of aligning technical solutions with customer needs and are passionate about ensuring their success.

Desirable

Experience with MongoDB's data platform is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud technologies and deployment strategies. You are comfortable navigating complex technical discussions and can articulate solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll do

As a Senior Solutions Architect at MongoDB, you will play a pivotal role in our Pre-Sales organization, ensuring that our growth is supported by strong technical alignment with our platform. You will guide customers in designing and building reliable, scalable systems, leveraging your deep technical knowledge and customer-facing experience. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with sales teams to identify customer needs, providing technical guidance during the sales process, and helping to win deals by demonstrating the value of our solutions.

You will engage with customers to understand their business challenges and work closely with them to design solutions that meet their requirements. This involves reviewing existing architectures, offering insights on improvements, and ensuring that customers are equipped to deploy and operate their systems effectively. Your role will also include contributing to the development of best practices and technical documentation to support our sales efforts.
