Overview

Okta is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive for their Auth0 team to drive territory growth and cultivate customer relationships. You'll focus on providing value to Application Development teams and require experience in security and account management.

Who you are

You are a highly motivated and self-driven individual with a strong background in account management, particularly in the technology sector. With at least 5 years of experience, you have a proven track record of driving sales growth and cultivating relationships with enterprise clients. Your passion for security and understanding of identity management solutions make you an ideal fit for this role. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to work with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional value to customers.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including engineering, product, security, and architecture teams. You are a lifelong learner, always seeking to enhance your knowledge and skills in the rapidly evolving field of identity and access management. Your ability to adapt to changing circumstances and your commitment to customer success set you apart as a candidate.

Desirable

Experience with identity management solutions, particularly in enterprise settings, is highly desirable. Familiarity with the Auth0 platform or similar technologies will give you an edge in understanding customer needs and driving adoption. A background in software development or application security can also be beneficial, as it allows you to engage more effectively with technical stakeholders.

What you'll do

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Okta, you will be responsible for driving territory growth through both acquiring new customers and nurturing existing relationships. You will leverage your expertise in identity management to provide tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of Application Development teams. Your role will involve identifying opportunities for growth, conducting product demonstrations, and negotiating contracts to close deals.

You will collaborate closely with the Okta ecosystem, including marketing, product, and engineering teams, to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into product development and that sales strategies align with company goals. Your focus will be on delivering consistent results and maintaining an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will also be expected to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape, allowing you to position Okta's offerings effectively. You will participate in sales meetings, contribute to strategic planning sessions, and represent Okta at industry events and conferences.
