Samsara is seeking a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales of their IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires experience in sales and a strong understanding of IoT applications.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with mid-sized customers and managing complex sales processes. Your experience includes building relationships with multiple stakeholders and negotiating pricing effectively. You understand the importance of the Internet of Things (IoT) and how it can transform physical operations for businesses. You are comfortable working remotely and can adapt to different time zones, particularly EST and CST. You are willing to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet clients and conduct presentations.
Experience in the technology sector, particularly with IoT solutions, is a plus. Familiarity with industries such as agriculture, construction, and transportation will help you connect with potential clients. You are data-driven and can leverage insights to inform your sales strategies. A background in working with executives and CXOs will enhance your ability to close deals effectively.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You will engage with potential clients, conducting presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of sensor data. Your typical sales will range from $20k to $100k, requiring you to manage proof of concepts (POCs) and trials effectively. You will negotiate pricing and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth sales process. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams to align product offerings with customer needs and market trends. You will also track your sales performance and report on key metrics to ensure you meet your targets.
