Life360 is hiring a Staff DevOps Engineer to support large-scale, data-intensive platforms for real-time adtech and data science workloads. You'll work with technologies like Apache Airflow, Databricks, and Kubernetes in a remote-first environment. This position requires extensive experience in DevOps practices.
You have a strong background in DevOps engineering with at least 5 years of experience managing and optimizing large-scale infrastructure. Your expertise includes working with cloud platforms and container orchestration tools, ensuring high availability and performance of critical systems. You are familiar with data processing frameworks and have experience in managing data pipelines, which is essential for supporting data-intensive applications. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you are comfortable troubleshooting complex issues in production environments. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Experience with specific tools such as Databricks and Snowflake is a plus, as is familiarity with data science workflows. You may also have experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices, which are crucial for streamlining deployment processes. Your day-to-day tasks will include monitoring system performance, implementing automation solutions, and collaborating with data teams to enhance data processing capabilities. You will also play a key role in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to facilitate smooth deployments and updates. As a Staff DevOps Engineer, you will mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the DevOps culture within the organization.
