You have a strong background in software engineering with at least 5 years of experience in building scalable applications. Your expertise in full-stack development allows you to navigate both frontend and backend challenges seamlessly. You are comfortable working with modern technologies and have a passion for creating user-friendly experiences that resonate with customers.

Your experience with AWS serverless architecture is extensive, and you understand how to leverage cloud technologies to build resilient systems. You are proficient in React and have a solid grasp of its ecosystem, enabling you to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life.

You are a problem solver at heart, always looking for ways to improve existing systems and processes. Your attention to detail ensures that the features you deliver are of the highest quality, and you take pride in writing clean, maintainable code. What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Discover team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience on Moonpig's platform. You will design and implement features that help millions of users navigate a vast catalogue of products, ensuring that every interaction is smooth and enjoyable. Your work will involve collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

You will be responsible for building scalable and resilient systems using AWS serverless technologies. This means you will need to architect solutions that can handle high traffic and provide a seamless experience for users. You will also be involved in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to help the team grow.

In addition to feature development, you will monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Your analytical skills will be essential in identifying areas for improvement and optimizing existing features. You will also participate in sprint planning and retrospectives, contributing to the team's agile processes and ensuring that everyone is aligned on goals and priorities.
