What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of our data centers — your responsibilities will include operating and troubleshooting critical electrical and mechanical equipment. You will work with standby diesel generators, switch gear, UPSs, and various cooling systems to ensure that our facilities maintain an extraordinary 99.999% uptime. Your hands-on approach will be essential in diagnosing and resolving issues that arise in our mission-critical facilities.

You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists, contributing to the overall success of AWS infrastructure services. Your role will involve routine maintenance checks, system monitoring, and emergency response to equipment failures. You will also participate in projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and reliability, providing valuable insights based on your observations and experiences.
