Overview

Percona is seeking a Business Development Representative (Spanish Speaker) to generate qualified leads for their sales team. This role requires a hunter mentality and strong prospecting skills to build a robust sales pipeline.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a motivated individual with a native level of Spanish or equivalent proficiency. You thrive in a sales environment and have a strong desire to succeed in generating leads. With at least 2 years of technology sales experience, you understand the nuances of outbound prospecting and inbound lead management. You possess a 'never give up' attitude and are comfortable reaching out to prospects through various channels including phone, chat, and social media. You are detail-oriented and can document all activities in a CRM system effectively, ensuring a smooth transition of leads to the sales team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for generating qualified leads in defined regions for the assigned sales team. You will create awareness and interest in Percona solutions, identifying key decision-makers within prospective accounts. Your daily activities will include delivering high-quality phone calls, emails, and social media messaging to meet and exceed monthly goals. You will nurture and manage leads until they are qualified as sales-ready, proactively setting up sales appointments for further discovery. Utilizing advanced prospecting strategies, you will break into enterprise accounts and contribute to building a strong sales pipeline for the company.
