Google is seeking a Cloud Consultant II specializing in AI/ML to help clients transform their businesses using advanced technologies. You'll leverage your expertise in Python, R, and machine learning frameworks to deliver impactful solutions. This role requires 5+ years of experience in project management and technical consulting.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in project management and delivering technical solutions. Your background includes expertise in machine learning, recommendation systems, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence. You are skilled in providing technical client service, particularly in a consulting capacity. You possess excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, which enable you to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
You have experience in systems design and can explain data analytics pipelines and data flows clearly. Proficiency in a statistical programming language like R or Python is essential, as well as familiarity with applied machine learning techniques such as dimensionality reduction strategies and classification. You are well-versed in designing and deploying solutions using technologies like TensorFlow, Spark ML, CNTK, Torch, Caffe, and Scikit-Learn.
Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform, is a plus. You are comfortable working with diverse teams and can package approaches, best practices, and lessons learned into thought leadership and methodologies. Your ability to interact with sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders allows you to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks, and timelines effectively.
As a Cloud Consultant II at Google, you will work directly with some of Google’s most strategic customers on critical projects that leverage AI and machine learning to transform their businesses. You will guide clients through their cloud journey, helping them understand how to utilize Google’s global network and software infrastructure effectively. Your role will involve collaborating with specialists, product teams, and development teams to create impactful solutions tailored to client needs.
You will be responsible for managing project scope and priorities, ensuring successful client outcomes through effective communication and problem-solving. Your expertise in machine learning and data analytics will be crucial as you help clients design and implement data-driven solutions. You will also have the opportunity to travel 30% of the time for client engagements, allowing you to build strong relationships and understand client challenges firsthand.
