Job Description

Amazon Global Engineering Services (GES) is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Program Manager (PM) capable of providing program management support in a fast paced and highly ambiguous environment.

1. As a Program Manager, you will manage and support multiple initiatives and/or projects simultaneously while working quickly to deliver results.
2. You must be a highly-effective communicator, capable of leading meetings, owning recaps and tracking milestones to report on.
3. You will conduct data analysis to identify issues and implement significant process improvement projects within the team and larger business functions.

The Startup Central Ordering Team (COT)’s mission is to provide ordering excellence with agility, accuracy and quality. We are committed to delivering exceptional service by continuously adapting to customer needs with speed and flexibility. Our emphasis on accuracy ensures that every order is processed with attention to detail, maintaining high standards and customer satisfaction. We are dedicated to creating a seamless ordering experience that exceeds expectations, earns trust, and builds lasting value for our customers.

The team supports the ordering requirements for GES new launch and retrofit projects in North America (NA).



Key job responsibilities
1. Manage ordering workflow for assigned projects including risk mitigation and escalations
2. Anticipating program changes and working with stakeholders to understand associated impacts
3. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and create efficiencies through initiative projects
4. Present project status and recommendations to senior leadership
5. Develop, build and maintain positive relationships with internal program teams
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Bachelor's degree- • Experience in project management and implementation with proven ability to design workable solutions and drive projects to successful
- • Experience delivering end-to-end projects with executive visibility
- • 3+ years leading process improvement initiatives
- • Strong stakeholder management skills across organizational levels
- • Expertise in project scheduling and process development
- • Experience in procurement, logistics, operations, or supply chain

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
