Job Description

We seek an experienced Global Programmatic Lead to enable MODE’s in-house activation across Amazon. You will consult with regional teams, provide playbooks from in House teams in North America/EU and expand coverage of MODE to emerging markets. This role requires expertise in buying media outside of North America and a history of leading a team internationally with clear direction. The ideal candidate will help Amazon teams assess the right buying structure needed for their goals within MODE.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop regional marketing strategies to demonstrate cost savings, simplify reporting structures and access to the most optimal tools necessary to make decisions
- Share best practices for quality framework (brand suitability, attention, etc) of media placement and creative insights from North America/EU and set up measurement plan for execution globally
- Lead global implementation of experimentation plans, first party buying and data management platforms for audiences
- Enable project management tools and manage account access globally for internal measurement teams
- Enhance centralized reporting and measurement features with 1P platform via MODE Product. Assist with adoption and usage requirements globally

A day in the life
- Consult with Amazon marketing groups across regions based on prioritization framework of MODE expansion and assess solutions for in house programmatic buying
- Provide creative teams with best practices for creative within formats
- Collaborate with partner agencies in region to expand media and audience strategies from direct buys cross channel to programmatic and align on emerging programmatic channel testing roadmap
- Frequent communication with Global Social Media Lead and Amazon marketing team leads for reporting, optimization and media plan reviews
- Develop mechanisms to evaluate regional performance/compliance (I.e. scorecards, dashboards, etc.) that highlighting adoption, efficiency, and areas for improvement or growth
- Collaborate with the Global Partnerships team to ensure regional adherence to brand safety best practices and strategic adoption of preferred technology partners

About the team
Amazon MODE (Media, Operations, Data and Execution) includes in house programmatic and social buying team. MODE is within XCM (Cross Channel, Cross Division) brand marketing team at Amazon.- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data- 10+ years collective experience across ad agencies and client side

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
