What you'll do

As an Options Trader at Chicago Trading Co, you will be responsible for covering Asian market hours, which involves trading from 3pm to midnight CT. You will engage in trading activities that require a deep understanding of equity and index options, focusing initially on markets in India and Korea. Your role will involve analyzing market trends, executing trades, and managing risk effectively to optimize trading performance. You will collaborate closely with other traders and analysts to develop and refine trading strategies that align with the firm's objectives.

You will participate in an intensive 8-week training program in Amsterdam, where you will master proprietary execution, fitting, and post-trade analysis tools. This training will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the trading processes and technologies used at CTC. You will also have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge execution technologies that enhance trading efficiency and effectiveness.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring market conditions, executing trades based on analysis and strategy, and communicating with team members to share insights and updates. You will be expected to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all trading activities, ensuring compliance with the firm's ethical standards and risk management protocols.
