Pathward is seeking an IT Auditor I to perform audits within Information Technology to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies. This role involves collaboration with audit team members and IT to develop audit objectives and testing strategies.
You are an entry-level IT Auditor with a keen interest in ensuring compliance within Information Technology. You understand the importance of financial inclusion and are motivated to contribute to a company that values innovation and problem-solving. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey audit findings to various stakeholders. You are eager to learn and grow within the auditing field, collaborating with experienced team members to develop your skills and knowledge.
While not required, any familiarity with auditing standards or IT compliance frameworks would be beneficial. A background in finance or technology can also enhance your understanding of the role and its impact on the organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing audits within the Information Technology department. You will collaborate with audit team members and IT staff to develop audit objectives and engagement scopes that align with departmental standards and risk priorities. Your tasks will include assisting in the planning, execution, and reporting of IT audit engagements, ensuring compliance with external regulations and internal policies. You will also participate in SOX ITGC testing and contribute to risk-based technology assessments. Your findings will be communicated to multiple stakeholder groups, helping to drive improvements in compliance and operational efficiency.
