We would love to have you join us in the Content and Data Platform team to build the systems, services, and applications to ingest, process, distribute and understand the video content available on Prime Video. As a Software Development Engineer and a part of the Prime Video Core Engineering team, you will work on designing and developing the systems and infrastructures used by Amazon millions of customers worldwide and will regularly interact with product management and senior engineering leadership. You will help to build our technology vision and create people first and high-performing engineering culture towards achieving a focused mission.
You are expected to have an established background in some of the following areas
1. Deploy and maintain ML models for image and video processing applications
2. Integrate and optimize third-party gen-AI models and APIs
3. Build scalable pipelines for image/video data processing and model inference
4. Implement model serving architectures for batch and real-time inference
5. Optimize model performance, latency, and resource utilization
6. Ensure ML systems meet production requirements for reliability and scalability
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
