Google is seeking a Senior Strategy and Operations Lead to drive the Ads Product GTM Strategy. You'll provide critical insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams while leveraging skills in Google Ads and data analysis. This role requires 6+ years of experience in relevant fields.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking roles, or digital ads sales. Your fluency in both Japanese and English allows you to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and collaboration across teams.
Your background includes experience with Google ads and performance products, which gives you a strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape. You thrive in ambiguous environments, demonstrating the ability to navigate complexities and provide strategic insights that drive business decisions.
You possess excellent communication, people management, and presentation skills, enabling you to convey issues clearly and effectively. Your collaborative nature and determination make you a valuable team member, as you engage with various stakeholders to align goals and expectations.
As the Strategy and Operations Lead, you will provide business-critical insights and recommendations that support decision-making processes. You will work closely with Sales Strategy and Operations Managers to run the business cadence and help the organization navigate the complexities of systems and tools. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve problems and design, manage, and deliver projects against operational standards.
You will set the focus, pace, and direction of the business across teams, advocating for and enabling the Sales organization to capitalize on important business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include performing data analysis and modeling to identify trends and efficiency opportunities, as well as building and maintaining tools and dashboards to support reporting needs.
Engaging in ad-hoc analyses will be a key part of your role, as you strive to understand business performance, user metrics, and KPIs. You will provide concise summaries and recommendations to management, identifying process gaps and opportunities for improvement. Your strategic mindset will help you define and implement operational strategies that enhance overall business performance.
