Shift4 is hiring a Solution Specialist to drive merchant success using Point of Sale technology. You'll engage with clients to present products and services, requiring strong sales skills and CRM experience. This role is based in Seattle.
You have a strong background in sales, particularly in the Point of Sale technology sector, and are passionate about helping businesses succeed. You excel at building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions. Your experience with CRM systems allows you to manage client interactions effectively and track sales opportunities. You are a professional communicator, capable of presenting complex products in an accessible manner. You thrive in a competitive environment and are motivated by achieving sales quotas. Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus, as it gives you insight into the specific needs of those clients.
In this role, you will be the driving force behind Shift4's sales efforts, engaging with merchants to showcase the latest Point of Sale technology. You will set appointments with potential clients, presenting Shift4's merchant servicing products and explaining their value. Your responsibilities will include prospecting new clients through various channels, including phone calls, face-to-face networking, and building referral partnerships. You will assist existing clients by offering additional services, including hardware, software, and professional services, ensuring they receive comprehensive support. Building strong relationships with merchants will be key, as you will need to listen to their needs and resolve any outstanding issues. You will also be responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities to up-sell additional products and services, contributing to the overall growth of the company.
