Samsara is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the Reporting Platform, transforming multi-product data streams into customer value. This role requires strong product leadership skills and experience in analytics.
You have a proven track record of product management experience, ideally with a focus on analytics and data-driven decision-making. You understand the importance of transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive customer value. Your leadership skills enable you to guide cross-functional teams effectively, ensuring alignment and collaboration across various departments. You are passionate about the Internet of Things (IoT) and its potential to revolutionize physical operations across industries. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable navigating the challenges that come with managing a large-scale platform.
Experience with cloud-based platforms and analytics tools is a plus. Familiarity with the Connected Operations Cloud and its applications in industries such as agriculture, construction, and transportation will set you apart. You are adept at stakeholder management and can communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
As the Principal Product Manager for Samsara's Reporting Platform, you will serve as the strategic owner responsible for defining the vision and roadmap for the analytics layer that integrates data from over 1.4 million connected devices. You will lead the Data & Extensibility team, ensuring the quality and integrity of data processing at scale. Your role will involve collaborating with engineering, design, and other product teams to create a seamless user experience that delivers real value to customers. You will conduct user research to understand customer needs and pain points, translating these insights into product features and enhancements. Additionally, you will define success metrics for the platform and drive initiatives that improve user engagement and satisfaction.
