Senior Product Designer

Lumen is looking for a passionate Senior Product Designer to join our design team. You will work in a cross-functional delivery team together with engineers, scientists, and product team members.

Our ideal candidate has the ability and passion for working independently, solving complex product challenges with engaging experiences, and communicating them well to all other teammates.

As a Product Designer, you are up-to-date with current mobile UX trends, as well as implementation practices. You have a holistic approach, yet can see and care about the small details.

The designer will perform user research and testing as tools to validate product experiences and will be able to apply conclusions with conviction across the team.

 

Requirements:

• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into compelling user experiences.
• Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches.
• Create pixel- perfect UI designs within technical constraints, adhering to UX best practices and our Design System.
• Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across the product and ultimately create a better user experience.
• Mentor and guide other designers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to raise the quality bar within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve Visual Layer design processes.
• Apply and maintain consistency with Lumen’s design standards and brand guidelines
• Work independently and take ownership of projects, while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals and drive product impact.

 

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer
• BA degree in Visual Communication
• A creative team player that likes to brainstorm, that contributes and sees the needs of others.
• Experience working in B2C & B2B companies 
• Experience in mobile apps and web applications
• Experience with user research methods and usability testing
• Strong understanding of user- centered design principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Proven experience as a UX/UI designer with a strong portfolio showcasing the design work
• Ambition and hunger.

• Knowledge and experience with nutrition/metabolism/health -  (a desire to know more about these topics is an advantage too)
