Tanium is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to help large organizations achieve visibility and control over complex environments. You'll work closely with sales and customer success teams to deliver technical solutions and demonstrations. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
You have a strong technical background and an uncanny ability to understand customer needs — you excel at translating complex technical concepts into understandable solutions for diverse audiences. With experience in pre-sales environments, you are comfortable leading technical discussions and engaging with stakeholders from C-level executives to technical users. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with sales and customer success teams to drive technology evaluations and deliver impactful demonstrations.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate technical solutions effectively and build trust with customers. Your analytical mindset allows you to assess customer technology and architecture, ensuring that you can provide tailored solutions that meet their operational and business needs. You are passionate about helping organizations leverage technology to improve their operations and security.
Experience in enterprise software solutions or cybersecurity is a plus, as is familiarity with the sales process and customer engagement strategies. You may also have a background in IT operations or security, which enhances your ability to understand customer challenges and propose effective solutions.
In this role, you will work directly with Tanium's world-class sales team from initial discovery through to deal closure — your expertise will help shorten sales cycles and improve closing rates. You will oversee and participate in initial discovery meetings with customers, providing platform demonstrations and conducting highly technical Proof of Value engagements for both existing customers and new sales opportunities. Your role will involve leading deep-dive technical discussions with customers to position Tanium’s transformative enterprise operations and security platform effectively.
You will analyze customers’ current technology and architecture, operational needs, and business requirements to develop and present appropriate Tanium solutions. Your ability to engage with various stakeholders will be crucial in ensuring that the solutions you propose align with their strategic goals. You will also collaborate with internal teams to refine and enhance the solutions offered, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of customers.
