NICE is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on back-end development to design and deliver high-quality software solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize your expertise in Java programming. This role requires a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field from a reputed institute and proven experience in Java programming. Your deep understanding of data structures, threading, object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, functional programming, and memory optimization sets you apart. You thrive in collaborative environments and have experience working with geographically distributed teams. You are committed to upholding coding best practices and standards, and you enjoy participating in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables. You are adaptable and can navigate the complexities of the software development lifecycle, from planning and estimation to testing and support.

Desirable

Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus, as is familiarity with developing reusable components and libraries that align with design systems. You are proactive in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application issues in a timely manner, ensuring that the software you develop meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at NICE, you will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, estimation, design, development, testing, and support. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, designers, and product managers to define technical solutions and deliver features that meet user needs. Your role will involve developing and maintaining reusable components and libraries, contributing to the overall design system. You will engage in code reviews, ensuring that coding best practices are upheld across the team. Working within Agile teams, you will deliver features and enhancements in regular sprints, adapting to changing requirements and priorities as necessary. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application issues, ensuring that the software you develop is reliable and efficient.
