Astronomer is hiring a Sales Engineer to guide clients in deploying data workflows and solving complex data challenges. You'll work with Apache Airflow and cutting-edge technology to influence product evolution. This role is ideal for someone looking to make a visible impact in the data domain.
You have a strong background in technical sales or a consultative role, ideally with experience in data workflows and analytics. You are comfortable working with clients and have the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable solutions. Your experience with Command Line Interfaces (CLI) allows you to navigate technical environments effectively. You are eager to grow into an expert in workflow orchestration and Apache Airflow, and you have a passion for helping customers solve real-world data challenges.
As a Sales Engineer at Astronomer, you will be a key partner to our clients, guiding them in deploying powerful data workflows that accelerate their business outcomes. You will design and implement proof-of-concept solutions that help customers tackle real data challenges, from concept to production. Conducting demos and providing technical guidance to engineering teams will be a significant part of your role, showcasing how our platform can transform their workflows. You will also contribute to the Apache Airflow community by creating technical content and best practices, positioning Astronomer as a thought leader in workflow orchestration. Additionally, you will act as a liaison by gathering field insights and providing critical feedback to the Product team, influencing the direction of our offerings.
