You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field such as Optics or Sensors — your educational background has equipped you with a solid foundation in technical principles. With at least 4 years of experience in a display test development technical environment, or 3 years with an advanced degree, you have honed your skills in testing and calibration of display systems. Your experience includes data analysis in optics or optoelectronics research and development, where you've developed a keen understanding of display metrology, color science, and image analysis algorithms.
You possess a Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field, which further enhances your expertise in display systems testing and calibration. With 5 years of experience in this domain, you are familiar with machine vision systems and have a strong grasp of deploying, validating, and debugging display hardware test systems. Your knowledge extends to microLED and other emissive display technologies, as well as low-noise electrical measurements, making you a valuable asset to any team.
Your technical skills include proficiency in test software development and scripting, particularly using tools like Python and SQL. You are adept at statistical data analysis and modeling, utilizing software such as JMP or Minitab to derive insights from experimental data. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional partners to define test specifications and implement calibration methodologies.
As a Senior Display Test Engineer at Google, you will be at the forefront of developing custom silicon solutions that power innovative products. Your role will involve determining critical metrics that impact display performance and analyzing experimental data using Python and SQL.
