You are a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in strategic finance, ideally with a background in FinTech. You excel in big-picture strategic thinking and have a proven track record of driving financial predictability and ROI maximization. Your ability to collaborate cross-functionally allows you to serve as the connective tissue between internal business operations and key stakeholders, including the executive leadership team and investors. You are adept at process optimization and thrive in a fast-paced environment where your contributions can have a significant impact on the organization.

You have a strong understanding of financial metrics and how they align with company strategy. Your experience includes leading teams and managing high-impact projects that require a deep understanding of financial outcomes. You are comfortable navigating complex financial landscapes and can effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. What you'll do

As the VP of Strategic Finance, you will report directly to the CFO and lead the Strategic Finance team. Your primary responsibility will be to drive high-impact projects that have company-wide implications. You will ensure alignment between financial outcomes and company strategy, serving as a key liaison between various departments and stakeholders. Your role will involve analyzing financial data to provide insights that inform strategic decisions and optimize processes across the organization.

You will be responsible for developing financial models that support the company's growth objectives and enhance financial predictability. Collaborating closely with the executive leadership team, you will help shape the financial strategy of Flex and ensure that it aligns with the overall mission of empowering renters. You will also oversee the preparation of financial reports and presentations for the board of directors and investors, ensuring that they are clear, concise, and impactful.

In addition to leading the Strategic Finance team, you will mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You will work closely with other departments to identify opportunities for process optimization and drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency. Your ability to think strategically and execute effectively will be crucial in this role as you help guide the company through its next phase of growth.
