Program Manager, Third Party Regulatory Risk

Who you are

You have a strong background in program management, particularly in the context of regulatory compliance and risk management. With at least 5 years of experience, you have successfully built and refined third party risk programs, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex regulatory environments. Your exceptional organizational and time management skills allow you to handle multiple assignments effectively, and you are comfortable assessing and analyzing data to solve problems. You thrive in ambiguous situations and can drive clarity and direction for your team.

You possess a keen understanding of regulatory frameworks and have experience implementing compliance programs that align with industry best practices. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Risk Domain Owners, Procurement, and Legal, showcases your strong interpersonal skills and your commitment to fostering a unified approach to risk management. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive mindset, always looking for ways to improve processes and drive operational efficiencies.

Desirable

While not mandatory, previous experience with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) or similar regulatory regimes would be advantageous. Familiarity with data visualization tools, particularly Tableau, will enhance your ability to present complex data in an accessible manner. You are eager to learn and adapt, continuously seeking opportunities to expand your knowledge in regulatory compliance and risk management.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the development of Stripe's regulatory compliance programs, ensuring that the existing framework for identifying, assessing, and managing third party risks is effective and robust. You will partner with various stakeholders across the organization to apply a unified Third Party Risk Framework, enhancing the overall risk management strategy. Your responsibilities will include refining existing compliance programs and ensuring they meet regulatory requirements while driving operational efficiencies across risk teams.

You will lead initiatives to assess and manage risks associated with third party relationships, working closely with procurement and legal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory guidance. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you evaluate data and metrics to inform decision-making and improve risk management practices. You will also play a key role in communicating findings and recommendations to senior management, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned on risk management strategies.
