You have 5+ years of experience in engineering, particularly in user-facing roles where you've developed solutions tailored to enterprise needs. Your background includes working with financial automation products, and you understand the intricacies of bridging complex financial operations with product capabilities. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable navigating ambiguity, adapting to shifting priorities based on user feedback. Your technical expertise spans languages such as Java and Python, and you have hands-on experience with REST APIs and cloud services like AWS. You are familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, which you have used to build scalable solutions. You possess strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset, enabling you to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Experience with extensibility models and custom solution frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with Stripe's suite of products, including Stripe Billing and Revenue Recognition. What you'll do

As a Staff Engineer on the RFA Forward Deployed Engineering team, you will lead initiatives to identify and close critical Product-Market Fit gaps for enterprise users. You will collaborate closely with key clients to understand their unique challenges and co-develop tailored solutions that enhance their experience with Stripe's products. Your role will involve rapid prototyping and building extensibility frameworks that can be leveraged across the product suite. You will work directly with enterprise users, especially in the AI segment, to ensure that their needs are met and that our solutions are effectively integrated into their operations. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.
