We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Business Analyst to join our team to support a critical migration initiative. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, focusing on data quality, catalog management, and ensuring business continuity throughout the migration process. You'll work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful data transformation and integration from stores across UK and USA regions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document current database structures, data models, and business processes to inform migration strategy.
- Define and validate business requirements.
- Create and maintain data mapping documentation for migration
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper data quality checks are implemented in the migration pipeline.
- Implement and manage data catalog solutions for metadata management and data lineage.
- Design and execute testing plans to validate data accuracy and integrity post-migration.
- Create reports and dashboards to monitor migration progress and data quality metrics.
- Partner with data governance teams to ensure compliance with data policies and standards.
Requirements for this challenge
- Experience with Cloud environment
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience with data analysis techniques.
- Present findings to stakeholders in a comprehensible manner.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA),
- Develop and implement data validation and cleansing processes
- Teamwork with stakeholders from various areas: data, applications, infrastructure, and business.
- Proven experience in working with such stakeholders to design Report
- Proficiency in English for communication.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Python, Snowflake and data transformation
