The Device Software and Services team is seeking to hire a Principal, Technical Program Manager, to lead and drive complex, cross-functional and cross-organizational initiatives. The role requires a combination of technical leadership and hands-on execution to solve large-scale, high-impact problems. The successful candidate is a force multiplier and influence without authority effectively.
Key job responsibilities
* Lead multiple initiatives in various stages of development across different Devices organizations.
* Evangelize vision and strategy, and drive customer focused, high impact roadmap delivery.
* Make timely, data-driven decisions to prioritize and solve problems.
* Build effective relationships up, down, and across organizations.
* Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly orally and in written form to influence different audiences and levels within and across organizations.- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
