Chime is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to shape their data-driven lending strategy. You'll collaborate with various teams to drive advanced analytics and experimentation. This role requires strong skills in SQL and A/B testing.
You have 5+ years of experience as a data analyst, particularly in the financial services or lending sector — you've successfully led complex analyses that drive strategic decisions and improve customer experiences. Your expertise in SQL allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively, and you are comfortable using data visualization tools to present your findings clearly to stakeholders.
You possess a strong understanding of A/B testing methodologies and causal inference — you know how to design experiments that yield actionable insights and can measure the impact of various lending strategies on member behavior. Your analytical mindset enables you to identify trends and patterns in data, helping to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Collaboration is key for you; you thrive in cross-functional teams and have experience working closely with product, risk, finance, and marketing teams — you understand the importance of aligning data insights with business goals and can communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for translating data into compelling narratives that influence decision-making.
Experience in the fintech industry is a plus, as is familiarity with lending products and member demographics — you understand how these factors influence lending needs and can develop optimal product offerings accordingly. A background in statistical modeling or machine learning would also be beneficial, as it would enhance your ability to build and scale analytical models that support lending growth initiatives.
As the Senior Data Analyst at Chime, you will lead sophisticated analyses that shape the lending strategy and enhance member liquidity experiences — your work will directly impact how Chime serves its members and drives growth in the lending portfolio. You will design and implement experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing, to evaluate product and revenue-driving opportunities, ensuring that all analyses are grounded in a strong understanding of causality and measurement.
You will partner closely with various teams, including Product, Risk, Finance, and Marketing, to align on strategy, goals, and measurement — your insights will help these teams make informed decisions that enhance the member experience and drive business success. You will be responsible for delivering clear, actionable insights that influence senior stakeholders and leadership, ensuring that data-driven decision-making is at the forefront of Chime's lending initiatives.
Chime offers a competitive base salary starting at $140,670 and going up to $195,400, depending on your experience and qualifications — in addition, full-time employees are eligible for a bonus and a competitive equity package. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation, working in an environment that encourages professional growth and development. Chime is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement.
