FiscalNote is seeking a China Macro Analyst Contractor to monitor economic, political, and regulatory developments in the APAC region. This role requires strong macroeconomic fundamentals and communication skills, with a focus on informing corporate executives.
You are a qualified individual with a passion for informing the decisions of senior corporate executives. You have a solid understanding of macroeconomic fundamentals and how local dynamics, policy, and politics can interact with economic factors to shape the business environment. Your exceptionally strong communication skills allow you to adapt to commercial needs and get up to speed quickly on unfamiliar topics. With 1-3 years of work experience, you are eager to engage with C-suite level executives and contribute to impactful analysis and forecasts.
As a China Macro Analyst Contractor, you will be part of the APAC Strategic Insight Team, responsible for monitoring economic, political, and regulatory developments in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and potentially developed markets such as South Korea and Japan. You will produce syndicated content that combines regional knowledge with macroeconomic and political insights, providing analysis and executional advice for senior executives at multinational organizations. Your role will involve close collaboration with the commercial team to support FrontierView’s growth strategy and maintain ongoing client relationships. You will analyze various factors affecting the business environment and contribute to the decision-making processes of some of the world’s largest businesses.
This is a unique contractor position that offers exposure to high-level corporate decision-making. You will have the opportunity to work remotely from Taiwan, allowing for flexibility in your work environment. The role is set to start in March 2026, providing ample time for preparation and onboarding. You will be part of a global strategic insight team that values collaboration and innovation, contributing to impactful projects that shape the future of multinational organizations.
