HockeyStack is seeking a Sales Engineer to bridge their AI-powered GTM platform with complex customer business problems. You'll leverage technical storytelling and build POCs while working closely with sales and marketing teams. This role requires expertise in sales operations and AI technologies.
You have a strong background in sales engineering, ideally with experience in AI applications — you understand the nuances of B2B sales and marketing workflows and can effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Your consultative approach allows you to identify customer pain points and tailor solutions that drive value. You are familiar with MEDDICC methodology and can leverage it to guide sales processes and improve outcomes. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are excited about the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies that automate complex workflows.
Experience in building sandbox POCs and conducting technical demos is a plus — you enjoy showcasing how technology can solve real business challenges. Familiarity with various sales and marketing tools will help you integrate HockeyStack’s solutions seamlessly into existing customer ecosystems. You are a natural storyteller, able to craft compelling narratives around technical solutions that resonate with diverse audiences, including CMOs and sales leaders.
In this role, you will act as the technical and consultative bridge between HockeyStack’s AI-powered GTM platform and customer business problems — you will lead demo engineering efforts and build sandbox POCs that demonstrate the value of our solutions. Your responsibilities will include tailoring technical storytelling to address the specific pain points faced by marketing and sales teams, ensuring that our offerings align with customer needs. You will collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to refine our approach and enhance customer engagement.
You will also engage with customers to understand their unique challenges and provide insights on how our platform can help automate their workflows — your ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies will be key to your success. As part of a rapidly growing team, you will contribute to the development of best practices for demo engineering and customer engagement, helping to shape the future of our sales processes.
