Equip Health is seeking a Telehealth Physician Assistant to provide care for individuals with eating disorders through a virtual platform. This role involves managing patient cases and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Experience in telehealth or mental health is preferred.
You are a dedicated healthcare professional with experience in providing care to patients, particularly those dealing with eating disorders. You understand the importance of a multidisciplinary approach and are comfortable working in a virtual environment. Your background may include experience as a Physician Assistant or in a similar role, where you have developed strong assessment and diagnostic skills. You are committed to supporting patients on their journey to recovery and are passionate about making a difference in their lives.
Experience in telehealth or virtual care settings is a plus, as is familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches for eating disorders. You may also have a background in mental health or related fields, which will enhance your ability to work effectively within a team.
In this role, you will manage a high volume of patient cases, providing comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of eating disorders and any co-occurring psychiatric conditions. You will collaborate closely with a team that includes therapists, dietitians, and peer mentors to ensure that each patient receives holistic care tailored to their needs. Your responsibilities will involve conducting virtual consultations, developing treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress over time. You will also engage in ongoing communication with team members to discuss patient care strategies and outcomes.

You will be part of a mission-driven organization that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Equip is committed to providing a supportive and engaging workplace culture where you can thrive professionally while making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with eating disorders. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds in our team.
