Overview

Datadog is seeking an Enterprise Security Sales Specialist to drive adoption of their Security platform across key accounts. You'll collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives and leverage your expertise in modern security solutions. This role requires proven success in selling to security buyers and a strong understanding of the partner/channel sales model.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record of success selling into security buyers such as CISOs and SecOps, demonstrating your ability to understand their unique needs and challenges. Your experience in co-selling within a matrixed environment has equipped you with the skills to effectively partner with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals. You possess a strong understanding of the partner/channel sales model, allowing you to navigate and influence joint selling motions effectively. Familiarity with modern security solutions, including Cloud SIEM, CSPM, and Cloud Workload Security, is essential for this role, as you will be acting as the subject matter expert for Datadog's security products.

Desirable

Experience with container and Kubernetes security will be a plus, as it aligns with the evolving landscape of security solutions. You are someone who stays informed on security trends and competitive offerings, enabling you to differentiate Datadog's solutions in the marketplace. Your ability to build relationships with security leaders and effectively evangelize Datadog’s security story will be key to your success in this role.

What you'll do

As an Enterprise Security Sales Specialist, you will partner closely with Enterprise Account Executives to drive the adoption of Datadog’s Security platform across key accounts. You will own and drive the security sales cycle from discovery to technical close, working closely with Sales Engineers to ensure a seamless experience for customers. Your role will involve collaborating with Datadog's partner, channel, and alliance teams to drive joint go-to-market motions, contributing to deal strategy, solution alignment, and stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for evangelizing Datadog’s security story to security leaders, including CISOs, Security Architects, and SecOps teams, helping them modernize their security stack in the cloud.
