SpaceX is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Turbomachinery team to develop advanced turbopumps for the Starship propulsion system. You'll focus on designing, analyzing, and building high-performance turbomachinery. This role requires expertise in mechanical design and fluid analysis.
You have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on turbomachinery design and analysis. Your experience includes working on complex fluid systems, and you are familiar with the challenges of managing cryogenic fluids in space. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovative solutions. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and are comfortable taking ownership of hardware development from concept to execution.
