Overview

Carvana is seeking an Experienced Auto Painter to join their team in Chesterfield, VA. You'll be responsible for professional automotive painting, including blending and paint correcting vehicles. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive painting.

Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive painting experience and are highly skilled in various painting techniques including base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats. Your expertise extends to blending adjacent panels and correcting paint on vehicles, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets industry standards. You are detail-oriented and take pride in your craftsmanship, understanding the importance of precision in automotive painting. You are also familiar with using state-of-the-art tools and equipment in a high-tech environment, which enhances your ability to deliver exceptional results.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a team that values quality and efficiency. Desirable

What you'll do

As an Experienced Auto Painter at Carvana, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, applying various types of paint, and ensuring a flawless finish. You will work closely with other team members to assess the condition of vehicles and determine the best approach for each project. Your role will involve mixing paints to achieve the desired color and consistency, as well as applying multiple coats as needed to achieve a high-quality result.

You will also be tasked with blending adjacent panels to ensure a seamless transition between painted and unpainted areas. This requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and correct any issues that arise during the painting process. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
