Senior Software Engineer, Platform

You have 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, with a strong background in both systems and software engineering. You understand the intricacies of deploying and maintaining multi-region, multi-provider service platforms, emphasizing security and resiliency. Your expertise in automation and monitoring tools allows you to reduce operational friction and increase engineering efficiency. You are comfortable mentoring product engineers and collaborating closely with them to develop platform features that meet business needs.

You possess deep knowledge of cloud services, particularly AWS, and have hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Your proficiency in scripting and programming languages, especially Python, enables you to build and automate platform and application lifecycle services effectively. You are familiar with infrastructure as code practices, particularly using Terraform, to manage and provision cloud resources efficiently.
