Dropbox is hiring a Data Scientist to partner with product, engineering, and design teams to drive revenue growth and optimize product performance. You'll leverage analytics techniques and insights to inform business strategies. This role requires proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
You have a strong background in data science with experience in analyzing consumer behavior and lifecycle. Your expertise in customer segmentation and digital campaign analytics allows you to derive actionable insights that drive business growth. You are proficient in programming and statistical packages, particularly Python and R, which you use to perform deep analytical dives into complex datasets. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to translate complex data findings into clear implications for product and revenue strategies.
You have a master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science. Your experience in a SaaS environment has equipped you with a robust understanding of business operations and monetization analytics. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with cross-functional teams to inform experimentation design and product optimization strategies.
Experience with product analytics in a SaaS company is a plus, as is familiarity with advanced statistical techniques and machine learning models. You are comfortable with exploratory analysis and can create personalized segmentation strategies using propensity models. Your ability to monitor and analyze experiments designed to optimize user experience and revenue is a key asset.
In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of customer journey phases and key business metrics. You will perform analytical deep-dives to identify problems and opportunities, designing and executing experiments to test hypotheses. Your insights will inform future experimentation design and roadmaps, enhancing user engagement and driving revenue growth.
You will create automated reporting and executive-facing dashboards to track acquisition, monetization, and engagement trends. By extracting actionable insights from large, complex datasets, you will help shape the strategic direction of product initiatives. Your work will involve monitoring a high volume of experiments, promoting best practices for multivariate testing, and ensuring that insights are effectively communicated to stakeholders.
