What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of the Produce, Herbs & Fruits category, shaping its strategy and ensuring that it meets the company's objectives. You will lead supplier negotiations, focusing on building strong, long-term relationships that ensure on-time and on-spec deliveries. Your responsibilities will include providing procurement advice, managing price updates, and maintaining compliance across the supply chain. You will also be tasked with researching and developing relationships with new suppliers to enhance the category's offerings. As a point of escalation for operational issues, you will work closely with suppliers to address any challenges that arise, ensuring that the supply chain operates smoothly. You will collaborate with various teams to implement innovative and sustainable sourcing strategies, driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Your role will involve regular reporting and analysis to track performance and identify areas for improvement, ensuring that the category remains competitive and aligned with market trends.
