Sophos is hiring a Threat Analyst to provide monitoring, detection, and response services as part of their Managed Detection and Response team. You'll work with cyber threat hunters and incident response analysts to neutralize cyber threats. This role requires expertise in cybersecurity and threat intelligence.
You have a solid background in cybersecurity, with experience in threat analysis and incident response. Your understanding of cyber threats and vulnerabilities allows you to proactively defend customer environments. You are skilled in log analysis and have a keen eye for identifying anomalies that could indicate potential security incidents. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside engineers and ethical hackers to enhance security measures. Your analytical mindset helps you to dissect complex security issues and develop effective strategies for threat mitigation. You are committed to continuous learning in the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity, staying updated on the latest trends and threats.
Experience with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services is a plus, as is familiarity with advanced security solutions and technologies. Knowledge of AI-optimized security services can set you apart, as Sophos integrates innovative technologies into their offerings. A background in working with enterprise-level security systems will also be beneficial.
As a Threat Analyst on the MDR team, you will be responsible for providing best-in-class monitoring and detection services. You will analyze security alerts and incidents, working to identify and neutralize threats before they can impact customer environments. Your role will involve using enterprise log analysis and endpoint collection systems to facilitate investigations. You will collaborate with a team of cyber threat hunters and incident response analysts, sharing insights and strategies to enhance overall security posture. You will also contribute to the development of incident response plans and play a key role in executing them during security events.
