You are familiar with designing distributed microservices and have experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs — you understand the intricacies of API-driven workflows and can integrate various components seamlessly. Your knowledge of streaming or messaging systems enhances your ability to build robust applications that can handle real-time event processing.

Your debugging and performance tuning skills are excellent — you can identify bottlenecks and optimize systems for better performance. You possess strong systems-thinking skills, allowing you to approach problems holistically and design solutions that are both effective and efficient.

You communicate effectively and document system designs clearly — you understand the importance of collaboration and can articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. What you'll do

In this role, you will build the core APIs and microservices that power DigiCert’s next-generation AI Security & Trust Infrastructure — you will design and develop event-driven microservices that handle trust signals and identity validation. Your work will involve implementing scalable backend services that are both observable and secure, contributing to data modeling, caching, and performance optimization.

You will integrate distributed components with identity and trust layers, partnering closely with infrastructure and security engineers to ensure that the systems you develop are deployable and resilient. Your participation in design reviews, code reviews, and incident postmortems will be crucial in maintaining high standards of quality and reliability in the software you produce.

You will leverage modern AI-assisted development workflows to enhance your productivity and clarity in coding — this will allow you to focus on building innovative solutions that extend digital trust to AI models, agents, and software ecosystems.
