Rula is seeking a Staff AI Engineer to define core technical systems for AI-assisted therapy. You'll work on Generative AI technologies to enhance mental healthcare. This role requires expertise in AI and machine learning.
You have extensive experience in AI engineering, particularly in developing and scaling production-grade systems that leverage Generative AI technologies. Your background includes a deep understanding of machine learning principles and their application in real-world scenarios, especially in healthcare settings. You are passionate about using technology to improve mental health outcomes and have a strong commitment to ethical AI practices. You thrive in collaborative environments and are skilled at communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
You possess a solid foundation in software engineering principles, enabling you to architect robust systems that can handle high volumes of data and user interactions. Your experience includes working with various AI frameworks and tools, and you are always eager to learn about the latest advancements in the field. You understand the importance of user-centered design and are dedicated to creating solutions that enhance the patient experience.
Experience with healthcare applications or mental health technologies is a plus. Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry will help you navigate the complexities of developing AI solutions in this space. As a Staff AI Engineer at Rula, you will play a critical role in defining the technical architecture for AI-assisted therapy solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, clinicians, and designers, to ensure that the technology aligns with user needs and clinical best practices. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing Generative AI models that support patient interactions and provider decision-making.
You will be tasked with developing scalable systems that can process and analyze large datasets, ensuring that the AI solutions are both effective and efficient. You will also be involved in creating RAG pipelines and orchestrating multi-agent systems to enhance the capabilities of the AI applications. Your work will directly impact the quality of mental healthcare provided to patients, making it essential to maintain high standards of performance and reliability.
In addition to technical development, you will participate in discussions around ethical AI use and contribute to the establishment of best practices for AI in mental health.
