Google is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Data and Systems Initiative to develop next-generation technologies. You'll work with networking problems, SNMP, and data analysis in Atlanta. This role requires 5+ years of software development experience.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages. Your background includes at least 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and you possess 1 year of experience in software design and architecture. You may also have a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, which is preferred. Your expertise includes solving networking problems and familiarity with Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and NetFlow data analysis. You have a solid understanding of network programming and UNIX/Linux environments, and you exhibit excellent investigative, abstraction, and modeling skills.
As a Senior Software Engineer at Google, you will work on critical projects that address the company's needs, contributing to the development of technologies that change how billions of users connect and interact with information.
