Pathward is seeking a Principal IT Software Engineer to analyze, design, and program software enhancements and new products. You'll work in a hybrid environment, contributing to financial inclusion initiatives. This role requires expertise in current programming languages and technologies.
You are an experienced software engineer with a strong background in analyzing, designing, and programming software enhancements and new products. You have a deep understanding of current programming languages and technologies, and you are skilled in writing code, performing testing, and debugging applications. Your ability to interact with users to define system requirements and make necessary modifications sets you apart. You thrive in a hybrid work environment and are dedicated to contributing to financial empowerment initiatives.
Experience in financial technology or related fields is a plus. Familiarity with cloud-based or internet-related computer programs will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. You are a problem solver and innovator who embraces diverse perspectives and values collaboration.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and modifying software enhancements and new products. You will write code and complete programming tasks while ensuring thorough testing and debugging of applications. Documentation of procedures for installation and maintenance will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that users have clear guidance on system requirements. You will also interact with users to gather feedback and make necessary modifications to improve the software.
